CANAL BOAT

A canal boat runs to the forest with water pools, giant tree swings, a raised board walk with zip wires & rope swings, wooden bridges, a maze, Pirates Ship, teepees & Gypsy caravans

CRUSOE'S WORLD

Crusoe’s World features props from the TV series Crusoe. Two tree houses are linked together with rope bridges, decking, a high lookout post & platforms sheltered under sail roofs

FORMAL GARDENS

The Gardens include a formal Knot and Oriental Garden, the white rose garden & the wonderfully named Drunken Garden featuring a giant chess set

THE SECRET GARDEN

Behind a thick wooden door lies The Secret Garden, with beautiful blue agapanthus, foxgloves and gazania. A wooden bridge crosses the streams which tumble down rocks into the moat, which surrounds the historic manor house

Take the ‘Boardwalk Challenge’ with its aerial walkways, tunnels, rope swings and child’s zip wire – children and adults alike will enjoy the giant tree swings which are suspended from the tallest trees in the forest

Groombridge Place is less than 4 miles from Tunbridge Wells & accessible by road or via the Spa Valley Railway which operates steam & heritage diesel trains between Eridge, Groombridge, High Rocks & Tunbridge Wells

DIRECTIONS

Groombridge Place is located in the village of Groombridge, 4 miles south west of Tunbridge Wells on the B2110, which is just off the A264 Tunbridge Wells/East Grinstead road – on the Kent & East Sussex county border

BY ROAD

Exit M25 at Junction 5 and head south on the A21. After 10 miles, exit at A26 signed Tunbridge Wells. Then take A264 to East Grinstead & follow the signs to Groombridge village & Groombridge Place

BY RAIL

London Charing Cross to Tunbridge Wells, then bus or taxi to Groombridge. Or take the Spa Valley Railway steam train from Tunbridge Wells West Station with a 10-minute walk the other end. Call 01892 537715 for timetables, detailed information & great value combined tickets

BY BUS

Take the 291 – 15 minute bus journey

Departs Tunbridge Wells at 41 mins past each hour
